Laurie A. Corbin, MSS, MLSP

Laurie Corbin is Managing Director for Community Engagement at Public Health Management Corporation. In this position Laurie has administrative oversight for a range of social service programs including prevention, intervention, treatment, housing, and education to at risk individuals and their families. This includes responsibility for Forensic Services, which represents a continuum of programs which focus on the diversion and early release from incarceration for justice- involved individuals. The Community-Based Outreach Programs (CBOP) include a treatment readiness/recovery support program, New Pathways Project and Philadelphia Hepatitis Outreach Project, a prevention education initiative for high-risk individuals. Services for homeless individuals includes services for chronically homeless adults, youth, and families on the street, and in emergency, transitional, and permanent supported housing in addition to a medical respite program called Serenity Court. Finally, the provision of financial supports for individuals eligible for Ryan White services also fall within her realm of responsibility.

Ms. Corbin has a Master of Social Service (MSS), Master of Law and Social Policy (MLSP) and Certificates in Non-Profit Executive Leadership from Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research and the Philadelphia African American Leadership Forum (PAADLF) through the Urban League of Philadelphia. Ms. Corbin has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University.

Ms. Corbin is Chair of the Penn Mental Health AIDS Research Community Advisory Board, Chair of the PA Reentry Council Committee for Diversity, Equity and Reentry and is a board member for the Joseph J. Peters Institute.
