Kevin Smith, PhD

Kevin Smith, PhD earned his degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron. He has 28 years of experience working in addiction and mental health and serves as Team Leader of the VA Mental Health Bioethics Team. Kevin also serves on the VISN 10 SUD Leadership Committee (Ohio, Indiana & Michigan), as the VA representative on the Executive Board of the NEO Opioid Consortium, and serves on both the Cuyahoga (Cleveland) and Summit (Akron) Opiate Taskforces.
