David W. Steem, MD, FASAM
David W. Streem, MD, FASAM serves as the Chief of Psychiatry at Lutheran Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University, a Compliance Officer of the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, and as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Northeast Ohio Hospitals Opioid Consortium.
Dr. Streem is a holder of the Gregory B. Collins Endowed Chair in Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation. He is a member of the teaching faculty of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is Board-certified in General Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine and is a Certified Medical Review Officer. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and his M.D. from The Ohio State University. He completed his psychiatry residency and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
