Christine Minhee

Christine Minhee is the founder of OpioidSettlementTracker.com. She has tracked opioid settlements and states’ spending plans since 2019 and now consults with governments and harm reduction organizations to ensure that funds from the opioid litigation will indeed be spent to bolster evidence-based responses to drug use.

She launched her watchdog project as a 2019 Open Society Foundations Soros Justice Fellow and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Washington School of Law, where she graduated as the Dean’s Medal winner and co-authored “The Cure for America’s Opioid Crisis? End the War on Drugs” (Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, with Steve P. Calandrillo). She holds a B.A. from Stanford University and is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism’s Publishing Course.
