Christine Dozier, MPA, PhD
Christine Dozier served as Chief of the United States Pretrial Services Agency in the District of New Jersey for 15 years, retiring in 2019. She is also the federal representative on the Board of the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies (NAPSA).
In her 30 years with Federal Pretrial Services, Chris has served on many advisory committees, including the National Chiefs Research Group for U.S. Pretrial Services and Probation, the Federal Judicial Center’s Tailoring Justice: Science-Informed Decision Making Workshops with Harvard Law, and the Aleph Institute’s Summit on Alternatives to Incarceration with Columbia Law. Chris has also served two terms as the representative for U.S. Pretrial Services on the Federal Chiefs Advisory Group. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College, a Master of Public Administration Degree from Rutgers University and is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration at Rutgers University.
