WHAT ATTENDEES ARE SAYING
[I loved] hearing so many...professional[s] talk about harm reduction in such an inclusive and positive way. Seeing that reducing stigma is a major goal of many in the medical environment and the justice world was inspiring.
[I will] make sure my patients feel listened to [and go] beyond the stigma. Even if it would not be appropriate to give controlled medications, [I want to] talk with them through the options, have a set plan, and help them not feel abandoned.
I enjoyed the legal discussion[s] and realized I have a lot of work to do. Our local jail is not offering buprenorphine, only methadone. I need to fix this.
